Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) aka ‘Rona’, has literally changed the landscape of our social lives over the past recent months. The virus is also exposing weaknesses in the American healthcare system, highlighting systemic racism as a major culprit for disparities in COVID-related health outcomes for Black Americans compared to our White counterparts.
